Open 5d barrel racing held every Thursday. March 4th thru October 28th. (no barrel race on April 22nd and July 15th). Check BBR website for the approved races. Exhibitions start at 6pm/ $4 a run or 3 for $10. Jackpot starts no later the 8PM.   80% payback with $100 added nightly with 10 or more entries. 1/2 second splits for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Division and a full ONE SECOND split for the 5th division. August 17 starts seven week 4-D Open Barrels and Jackpot Poles, Broken Arrow Round-Up Club fall series.  Exhibitions at 6pm, race at 8pm.  1/2 - 1/2 - whole split, no nomination fee, equal payout.  $500 added first and last nights, $150 added nights 2 through 6.  Finals held Tuesday following all rainouts and make-ups.  Finals open to all but must attend 4 of first 6 nights to be eligible for buckles and other prizes, jackpot as usual for payout and added money.  Groundhog drag every 5 runs or as conditions warrant. 27-28 Edmond Jr. Rodeo (Finals); Edmond Round Up Club “Carl Benne Arena”, 300 N. Kelly Rd; Edmond, Oklahoma. Friday Rodeo starts at 8:00pm, books close at 7:30pm. 18 Children's Miracle Network Ride, New Location - Take Highway 100 west out of Stilwell.  Travel 15 miles to Dry Creek  Road (look for trail ride signs).  Turn left and travel approximately  one mile to the driveway on your left.  The turn will be clearly marked.  Get lost?  Questions?  Contact Robert Parris, 918-316-0778. Plenty of parking at this location as well as a limited number of  overnight spots.  Same rules apply to overnighters--no stallions and  no booze of any kind.    This ride will enter a portion of the  Cookson Wildlife Refuge.  Because of the gravel work that has been  done on the trails shoes or trail boots are recommended.

18 ACTHA ride, Walnut Creek State Park in Prue. Check in is Friday after 4p.m. or Saturday morning at 8a.m. Ride out starts at 10. There are electic and water hook-ups. $25 to become a member and $58 for open or pleasure division and $25 for junior riders. Ribbons and prizes will be handed out after lunch. 24-26 Roman Nose Hills Trail Ride, Watonga, OK. Benefits Watonga Hospital Foundation. Ladies, NO cooking, all meals from Friday night through Sunday lunch are included. 24-26 POKER RUN Bad Girls Trail Riding Club annual Poker Run will be held at Arrowhead State Park with camping at the Equestrian Campground. Please come join us for the weekend!! Cost is $10 a hand, with 1/3 of the pot going to the high hand, 1/3 to the low hand, 1/3 to the club.  There will be a door prize given away during the Mexican food theme covered dinner. If you don’t like Mexican there will be other food so bring what you like. 25 Kountry Dolls Saddle Club is proud to announce our first annual Hoofbeats of the Heart benefit trail Ride At Prague Lake for Ally's House, the funds go to help Oklahoma kids with cancer and their families.  Ride starts at 9am and ends at 1pm.  Rode and dinner is $15 for adults and kids 11 and under for $6. after the ride you will be served dinner. We will be selling raffle tickets for a 2010 APHA filly. 2 Hooves for a Cure, Lake Carl Blackwell, Stillwater, OK. Ride with us to raise funds to fight breast cancer, raise awareness, help pay for research and mammograms. $10.00 Donation per person. You are invited to join us to help support Hooves for a cure. The rides are scheduled to leave at 10:00 AM, You can ride with a group or do your own thing. There will be three guided rides and they all leave at 10:00 AM SHARP! The cost for this ride is $10.00 at the gate, Coggins will be required for all horses. All Proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Bring a sack lunch or we will be serving a chili Lunch for a small donation. This ride is sponsored by the Renegade Cowgirls Trail riding club. Lake Carl Blackwell is located 9 miles W. of Stillwater on HWY.51. For safety reason there will be no stallions or alcohol allowed on the trail. Liability release forms will be signed before entry.
