Offering classical and western dressage at all levels, all breed classes and Morgan only classes that will qualify the 1st and 2nd placings in the class for Morgan Grand National. April 6 Police Horse Training- Despooking and Confidence building clinic, A Touch of Heaven Ranch Depew Oklahoma. Bill Richey, the founder and CEO of National Mounted Police Services, Inc. is a POST certified mounted police instructor. He was instrumental in creating the mounted units for the city of Duluth, also in Forsyth and Gilmer Counties (Georgia) and training their officers and horses. He worked with Atlanta Police Mounted Unit in preparation for the 1996 Olympics and was also involved in reorganizing the unit. He was the chief instructor for Mobile Mounted Police Mardi Gras School. Mr. Richey has participated in and won or placed in every national mounted police competition he has entered. He has over 30 years experience as a mounted police officer or mounted police trainer, and almost as many as civilian trainer/ instructor. He has spent countless hours training officers and civilians from all over North America, the Middle east and South America, as well as their mounts, to perform safely and professionally, from the trail, to the movies, to the show ring and to Mardi Gras. We have the amazing opportunity to have a clinic here in Oklahoma! Officer Richey is a fantastic instructor who takes time and works with a horse and rider at the beginning of a clinic and turns them into a TEAM by the end of a clinic with TRUST being the magic word. April 7 2nd Annual William's Walk Memorial Trail Ride, Bell Cow Lake, Chandler OK. Hosted by Right Path Riding Academy. 8 am-3 pm. All participants will be entered in a drawing for the grand prize giveaway: a TRIP FOR 2 to the EXTREME MUSTANG MAKEOVER, with extras! Registration for the ride begins at 8:00am, ends at 9:00am. Guided ride on Flat Rock Trail leaves at 9:45am (self-guided are at their leisure). Lunch and silent auction are at 1:00pm.
